เชื่อว่ารายงานข่าวนี้คงจะทำให้เจ้าของมือถือ iPhone และ Android ตื่นเต้นอย่างแน่นอน โดยล่าสุดบริษัท Spactial View กำลังพัฒนาแอพพลิเคชัน และฮาร์ดแวร์ที่จะทำให้ผู้ใช้สามารถรับชมภาพยนต์ และภาพนิ่ง 3D (Stereoscopic) แบบไม่ต้องใส่แว่นตา (Glasses-free) บนมือถือ iPhone และ Android
ทั้งนี้แอพพลิเคชันที่มีชื่อว่า 3DeeCentral สำหรับ iPhone จะออกมาก่อนเป็นอันดับแรก โดยมันจะเป็นพอร์ทัลของร้านภาพยนต์ 3D ออนไลน์ ซึ่งผู้ใช้จะสามารถดาวน์โหลดหนังที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อใช้งานร่วมกับ 3DeeSlide ของ Spatial View ซึ่งแอพพลิเคชันบน iPhone ของทางบริษัทได้ส่งให้ Appple พิจารณาแล้ว ในขณะที่เวอร์ชันบน Android กำลังอยู่ในระหว่างการพัฒนาให้แล้วเสร็จในเร็ววัน สำหรับ 3DeeSlide จะเป็นเลนส์หักเหแสง (lenticular lens) ที่มาพร้อมกับคลิปหนีบติดหน้าจอ โดยสามารถทำงานได้ทั้งในแนวนอน และแนวตั้ง แถมยังรองรับการใช้งานในระบบสัมผัสของหน้าจอด้วย (หมายความว่า คุณยังสามารถใช้งานระบบสัมผัสบน 3DeeSlide ที่ทับอยู่บนหน้าจอ iPhone ได้โดยไม่ต้องถอดมันออกมา)
